3GI2 is a Multi-Layer-Application (MLA) Tactical System to interrogate and identify any GSM and UMTS mobile handset from the air.

3GI2 identifies, and when relevant, captures the mobile handset in a GSM virtual network that allows performing complicated and enhanced manipulations and operations. The 3GI2 tactical system’s small, covert, and flexible design, along with its sophisticated applications, gives Law Enforcement Agencies a powerful tool with the following new capabilities.

• Identifies anonymous subscriber handsets (IMSI/IMEI/TMSI) without attracting attention.
• Collects, verifies and sends an alert if a target is identified at a scene (i.e. airports, boarders, embassies, prisons, etc.)
• Identifies the location of the target (in the GSM network)
• Operates a virtual network (in the GSM network)
• Selectively jams an area in order to isolate a target from its GSM network
• Full interception suite (optional) – seamlessly recording the outgoing and incoming call and SMS of a target (Including in A5.1 networks ) in the GSM private network.
• Neutralizing GSM/UMTS bombs – disabling phones operation steadily. Only restart of the phone can bring it back to service

In addition, 3GI2 is often used as an effective tool for field forces and platoons to be able to detect any GSM activity in the surrounding area allowing gathering information about the presence of GSM/UMTS phones in the area locate them and intercept their calls if required. Dealing with terrorists and counter-forces that utilize the GSM/UMTS network for operational communication and for activating Bombs, the 3GI2 is an essential tool in the toolbox of the forces in the field to track this activity and even manipulate their action by blocking their communications or neutralizing the GSM/UMTS bombs.
